I downloaded many freebies convinced I wasn't going to need to pay to find a decent task timer but none of them did what I needed. I just wanted something super simple to use that was going to give me flexibility and put out professional looking reports for my clients.

This is the only program I felt comfortable with within 15 minutes of downloading and playing with it. Projects and tasks are easy to manage. Time is easy to track and edit. Autosave is a lifesaver, and reports have all the basic customization I need. There are also some cool bells and whistles that I'm sure some folks will love but I've just never needed, but my business may grow into using. Which is why I don't see myself ever needing more than this.

The few questions I had during the free trial were answered quickly.

I used this program on my Windows PC and when I switched to Mac it's the first download I gladly paid for.

If you're a one-man (or woman :) ) small business looking for a simple, clean, reliable way to track your time and report that time to your customers Task Timer is a smart investment.

I looked at this app prior to current release and liked everything EXCEPT that you couldn’t sync with iPhone/iPad. Now that I can, I purchaed the app and I’m using regularly on my projects.

Task Timer is a great application to track the time that you spend on projects, especially if you estimate your time at the start. I love the colored bars that represent your current time vs. your estimate. It has helped me become more accurate on my estimates!

I would love to give this app 5-stars, but the UI needs some work. It reminds me of an older Windows app that was ported over to OS X… there's a lot of potential here! Also, in the project editor (where you define your projects, and the project's individual tasks), you can't reorder the tasks… which really annoys me.

Keep up the good work; I hope to see further updates!
