Customer Reviews

Not as good as expected.

I love ipad synths. I have many of them. I like the korg, wavemapper, nave, animoog, thumbjam, alchemy, sunrizer, grain science, and the list goes on. But...

I just do not see this one being one I will ever use. To me, it's not very functional for what I would need. It at best makes some ambient noises that may be of use to some people.

I just do not understand all the rave reviews. For the price (which is very costly) I just can't see it. For a synth, I am not happy. Well, I saw the reviews and figured it was worth the money. It wasn't.

Get wavemapper, animoog, alchemy, any korg, sunriser, soundprism, nave, before considering this. There are many other synth apps that cost less and in my opinion quite a bit better.

If given a choice, I would love to get my money back and get another synth I don't have. The only reason for two stars is, it doesn't crash. I wish it did, would give reason for refund.

Doesn't seem all that controllable...

Reading the downloadable manual, trying to understand this highly-rated app to see if I missed its point. This app is intriguing, unique, well designed and beautiful to look at, it just doesn't seem to provide enough consistent, predictable sonic control.

Many visual elements seem to appear at random as special effects instead of providing useful information, like those little triangles projecting from touched circles, for instance. If I touch in the same place, they reappear in at different angles. Or those sparks slowly gliding across the screen... I don't hear any changes corresponding to their progress.

Raised my rating to neutral in the meantime... A lot of talent obviously went into producing this app, so it must have value & purpose... if I can only find it...

I'm trying to like this app after investing $10 in it...

Here's what I experienced: High hopes from glowing reviews, GUI eye candy, uninteresting noise, frustration, disillusionment, then buyer's remorse.

This app is very over-priced at $10 "on sale". I've 100's of paid music apps and this one is musically useless.

It's basically a sonic curio. The user has very little real control in producing something by intent. A 5 year old will get the same repetitive, boring results as the purposeful adult.

Suggest to watch the videos then decide for yourself. What you'll hear is what you'll get, little else. Useless, expensive, uncontrollable noise....
