Brightest idea ever❣️❣️❣️

I picked this up on a whim ... older home ... not so many plugins that are easy to get to. I put one in our living room. It goes on around 9ish and off around 12:30. Signal that its time for bed. From there, I have one in our bedroom closet. I can turn it on dim and not wake up my husband. Great night light if I have to get up in the middle of the night.
When doesn't it work??? When hubby or the kids decide to unplug the main box from an electrical outlet or manually turn on lights 😡😡😡
Sometimes it needs to be reset after electricity goes off ... but then again ... so must everything else.
Love ❤️ playing tricks on people with the auto on/off 😂
Great product❣️❣️❣️

Not Nearly as bad as they say, but some issues.

I bought twelve of these bulbs and got the app.

First things first, the system worked.

There were issues. The procedure is not obvious. And, worse, once you figure it out, you quickly forget it. But it does work.

I created rooms and zones and different groupings that I could turn on and off. It worked at home and I was able to log in and turn on lights from the road.

The biggest issue I have had was a black out, which, somehow, scrambled the controller's brain somehow. It lost track of the lights and the groupings. So everything I set up was lost. I don't see how this happened, since the intelligence is in the app on the phone, and shouldn't have been effected by the loss of power, but it was. (this is the part where I discovered you forget how to set things up if you don't use the set-up procedure.

I only logged in again to just down load the app anew and start over. That's when I saw all the bad reviews and had to set the record straight. Now back to it, I have some ciphering to do.

So far so good

I like the dim feature from the app so I'm not blinded by them when they're on.

The remote access seems to lag a bit when I'm in a 3G area vs LTE but that's almost never anyways.

My one complaint is that it appears you can't just use them like regular light bulbs... Meaning your lamp needs to be in the on position to receive the wifi signals. If I come into a room and just want to manually switch the bulb on it doesn't turn on and then the bulb is temporarily x-ed out on the app.... You basically have to commit to controlling these specific lights with your phone, which is rarely out of arms reach anyway.

I just strategically placed them in lamps that I want to activate when I'm not home and don't typically use from day to day.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
