Open iTunes to buy and download apps.

Tea is a favorite drink and there are hundreds of varieties. Our Tea Handbook helps take the guess work out of teas and gives a great overview of tea, what is in it, and how it is grown.

It also has step by step instructions, including tips and tricks, for brewing the perfect cup of tea. It has separate instructions for black, green, oolong, and pu-erh teas.

Also included is a detailed look at the different types of tea, including:
Black Tea
Green Tea
Yellow Tea
White Tea
Oolong Tea
Jasmine Tea
Earl Grey Tea
Pu-reh Tea
Herbal Tea
Chamomile Tea
Yerba Mate Tea
Rooibos Tea

It has an examination of several of the most popular tea regions including Darjeeling, Assam, Ceylon, China, and Japan.

You can also add custom notes to the articles to keep track of your own experiences and can even save articles in your Favorites for easy access later!

We will be adding more information about teas so let us know what you'd like to see!

Needs Improvement

Good basic intro to tea, but not much more than that. You can read the whole app in about an hour or so. I'd recommend the internet instead of dropping a couple bucks on this app. Improvements could come in the form of diagrams to aid in the understanding of processing and production. I also wouldn't mind some deeper history and perhaps some cultural notes to bring it all to life. More pics would also be nice. In addition, I worry about misleading information like the section on Rooibos which continually refers to tea and tannins while the actual plant is quite unrelated to tea at all. This was briefly addressed but then ignored through the consistent use of terminology that relates to the camellia sinensis plant. Anyway, nice try and worth the money if you're completely ignorant of tea.

All about tea!

Just the best. My mother was English and drank only tea so I'm a big tea drinker. I learned so much stuff and now can make even better tea.

Good Introductory Tea App

Gives me enough information to get started trying some new teas and brewing techniques.
