Improvement but not there
TFCU has never had strength in electronic banking. Not being able to transfer credentials is the first sign this was not going to be very polished, but compared to the last set of fiasco Apps there have been improvements made. There have been times the entire system was down for extended periods. There is no acceptable excuse for that.
As far as the mobile deposit is concerned, why am I asked every time if the picture is good when I’ve already approved it?
Now the App is turning off Touch ID.
The worst part is tech support is terrible. Half the time they are unfamiliar with the inner workings of the App and website. The App used to send text message confirmation for App deposits. No one can tell me why this has stopped except that it never worked that way. That’s entirely untrue but there’s no point in arguing with people that don’t use the product.
Annoying Error messages
I use this app frequently and it’s normally pretty good. The only thing that happens a lot is when trying to login an error message pops up saying, “No valid accounts” I also get a message that says “Application Error, we are unable to display your information at this time. Please try again later.” Unfortunately when I get those messages I can’t access the app for a while even after restarting my phone. Other then that it’s a really easy way to check my balance and keep track of my direct deposit.
Needs major work
When this app actually works it’s great but more often then not I have problems with it loading or having errors, on multiple occasions when I go to transfer from one account to the another it will do it more than once switching around more money than I wanted and using multiple of my allowed transfers. Overall needs some serious tech issues fixed.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
