See what real fans have said in our 5-star app's reviews:
"This app is great, 9 times out of 10 I get updates from BR before the ESPN app."
“Wow - I'm just blown away by how good this is! The stream is awesome, and the breaking news is dead on. So much better than trying to follow multiple teams on ESPN. NICE JOB FELLAS!”
“SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!! - As soon as I got the app and added my local team, I got breaking news from my team before they broke the news on a local sports talk radio that I listen at work every day. From that moment I fell in love with the app!!! Awesome app, I recommend it to every sports fan!!!!!”
“Great app - Instead of having to go to multiple sites, I get a quick fix on my favorite teams with just this one.”
"Awesome! - Best sports app there is! I love the team feature. I used to watch espn daily but now with this app I haven't watched in over two weeks. All the news is fast and to the minute. Bye-bye espn.
“Perfect - Get all your local teams big news in your notification center. How awesome!!!!!”
“Great App!! - This app is very useful for breaking news and interesting tidbits from my teams. Being separated from home sports city makes it tough to get a ton of info on just a couple teams I want to follow, better than twitter only sports related updates.”

Lots of clutter and garbage
Like a lot of reviewers before me, I used to love this app because it would aggregate useful, relevant articles and breaking news. Then, for some reason, they took off the Spam Filter and let all the garbage in. Just like I don't want to see bogus emails about ED enhancement or Lower Mortgage Rates in my email's inbox, I don't want to see half the stuff that Team Stream now lets in. For example:
-Reddit posts. This isn't news, it is just a message board talking about things that may or may not be currently topical. If I wanted to read that, I would join those boards.
-Fan tweets. I don't care what Joe from the street has to say about my team. I don't care about jokes people make. The only tweets I want to see are from beat writers and the national news organizations that have legit info.
-Third-rate sites that rehash info that was reported two weeks ago by the credible sites. They aren't giving any news, they are leeching off of the work others have done for cheap clicks.
I really wish this app would allow you to choose not only what streams you want, but what sources show up in your streams. Because what this app thinks I want to see is WAY off-base. Unfortunately, the only way they might fix this is if people stop using the app and deleting it. I'm tempted to do just that.
The quality of the reporting aside this app can be a bit annoying.
My one complaint, and it may be silly, is that I can't prevent the app from putting articles that I don't want or care about into my feed.
I have the app set to "My Streams Only" but it still forces articles into my feed about sports and subjects that I don't want. I don't want to see some nonsense about a sport I don't care about. I only want the nonsense for the sports I've selected.
5 Star becomes 2 Star
Before the latest version of this app was installed I was able to go back as far as I wanted to access articles on my home screen. Now I can only go back and read/watch only the most recent 9 or 10 stories. I contacted app support to give feedback but only received an automated FAQ response which did not address the issue. I guess I'll have to find another website to get my sports updates...
