See what real fans have said in our 5-star app reviews:

• "This app is great, 9 times out of 10 I get updates from BR before the ESPN app."

• “Wow - I'm just blown away by how good this is! The stream is awesome, and the breaking news is dead on. So much better than trying to follow multiple teams on ESPN. NICE JOB FELLAS!”

• “SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!! - As soon as I got the app and added my local team, I got breaking news from my team before they broke the news on a local sports talk radio that I listen at work every day. From that moment I fell in love with the app!!! Awesome app, I recommend it to every sports fan!!!!!”

• “Great app - Instead of having to go to multiple sites, I get a quick fix on my favorite teams with just this one.”

• Awesome! - Best sports app there is! I love the team feature. I used to watch espn daily but now with this app I haven't watched in over two weeks. All the news is fast and to the minute. Bye-bye espn.

• “Perfect - Get all your local teams big news in your notification center. How awesome!!!!!”

• “Great App!! - This app is very useful for breaking news and interesting tidbits from my teams. Being separated from home sports city makes it tough to get a ton of info on just a couple teams I want to follow, better than twitter only sports related updates.”

What's New in Version 5.6.2

What’s New in 5.6.0-5.6.2

• Highlights Stacked on Highlights. October baseball is finally here, football (on both sides of the pond) is in full swing, and the basketball season is about to tip-off. We’ve got you covered with even more highlights from the moment you first open the app.

• Improved Game Recap Alerts. Press and hold (or swipe left and tap view) on your end of game football alerts to see passing, rushing, and receiving leaders from the game without having to open the app (though obviously open the app for more highlights and stats).

• From 2K to Yeezy. We’ve added dozens of new streams - ranging from specific kicks (like Yeezys and Supremes) to specific video games (2K is back y’all) - for you to enjoy. Let us know what you want next (email below)!

MY FAVORITE!!! Just one big issue...

I LOVE this app & don’t think I could live without it! It’s got so many stories, and so much variety from all kinds of sources (tweets, opinions, blog posts, website/magazine articles, news headlines...), it’s easy to personalize, sends great breaking news alerts, and has lots of fun off the field/court/ice stuff on the athletes.
My only complaint is that hockey (NHL/AHL/IIHL) isn’t covered nearly enough! There’s no option for a “fantasy hockey” topic, and even in the latest update notes it says “October baseball is here, football (on both sides of the pond) is in full swing, and the basketball season is about to tip off.” Even SOCCER is mentioned, but nothing about the hockey season just getting started?!?
If there were more hockey topics & stories, Bleacher Report would be 5-stars, hands down! Without it, I can’t give it more than a 4.

Old app was better

I don’t know what they changed in this new update, but the app has been freezing a lot. And they went back to their old video system where instead of a video just playing and you tap for sound, you need to hit play and wait for it to load, sometimes having it take you like 3 new pages deep. They also brought back the auto play feature for videos which is annoying because if you want to rewatch something, you have like 5 seconds to quickly scroll the bar back or else some random new video would play. Old app was better

Great sports headlines!

But!! The best is Simms and Lefkoe. They give us so many opportunities to laugh and smile, especially when reviewing the pick results during the ensuing week. I am a 61 year old woman, and I don't miss a podcast! Best NFL cast by far👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Except when Chris talks about things where he doesn't have the education to back up his comments😉
