Ratings and Reviews
Great App, But Not Updated
TextWrangler is a great text editor, but its kind of dead, in a sense.
The develooper instead focuses on its origonal version, BBEdit. It can be run in a free mode, which has all the features TextWrangler has, and is regularly updated.
macOS Sierra said that the current version is not optimized
Per macOS Sierra, the current version is not optimized
Also wish that it supported RTF file format

TextWrangler is compatible with macOS 10.9 through 10.12.6, but we recommend that you use BBEdit (which includes all of TextWrangler) on 10.13 and later. Complete details are available through the "TextWrangler Support" link in the App Store listing for TextWrangler.
Simple and nice format. Great for editting weird text files like sh/bash and other script files.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
