Crashes, tiny font, predictable entries, annoying comments
First the technical: the font is tiny, be prepared to squint. If you scroll down and force it to reload you WILL crash if you try to view the comments on a post. I have tested this on 4 iPads so I know it is their issue.
Now for the content: Do yourself a favor and view the website first before spending any money. Every other post is about sex, vomiting, drugs, drinking, hangovers or walks of shame. The moderators (the people who decide WHICH submittals are posted) reveal much about what THEY think is funny based on what gets shared. Considering that fact, the moderators are all 20something guys with a sophomoric sense of humor at best. Don't get me wrong, if you are one of those rare few who can't get enough fart, vomit, (what did I do last night) posts then you will be lost for hours in the world of TFLN.
On the other hand, if you know what SAT and ACT are abbreviations for then you will find the texts generally insult your intelligence. Like me, you continue reading this train-wreck of a site to see if ANYTHING might be remotely entertaining.
Given that most of the posts are predictable and repetitive you may decide to read the comments. While the comments are quite often funnier than the original text, there is a problem here too. I will just say this "FIRST!". You will understand the irritation of that word very, very soon.
I Love This App But....
it does occasionally crash on me for no apparent reason. On my iPad and my iPhone 4, both with the latests software updates. My main problem with this app is that it doesnt save my account profile password. So every time I use this app and want to favorite a text or do anything I have to enter in my password. Not really a problem but every app I own and have an account on saves my info for every time I open the app. Hop on the band wagon guys, dang.
Funny beyond funny - a must have
It's like reading the comic section every morning...except it's not a cartoon. I'm usually checking to see if my night was REALLY weird (or just par for the course) and also to see if anything got posted from here.
