"Introducing The Act – an exciting a new interactive comedy that makes gaming feel like playing a classically-animated movie. Take control of Edgar, a humble window washer, and help him on his quest to save his job, rescue his brother, and woo the woman of his dreams!
In The Act, you control both Edgar's actions and emotions. Swiping left or right with your finger will cause Edgar to react in different ways, and engage with other characters. Be careful, though, swipe too far and Edgar may get over-confident and things can get out of hand!
Everything about The Act is beautiful, from its classic hand-drawn style, to its warm-hearted character animations, to its captivating storyline. It's unlike anything else on the App Store.
With amazing, downright-hysterical animations throughout the game, The Act is a tremendous amount of fun for anyone.

Creatively Innovative and Refreshing! Hard work pays off - Great Job!
I was searching apps and think it was a review of or 'what's new in apps' feature or spotlight kind a thing...and I found "The Act" and it is great! I found it interesting and funny and romantic and new, fresh, innovative with great collaboration (hats of to ALL of you) among the many talented people behind creating this app [see the extensive credits at the end]! It is a captivating game with good hints soas not to make it impossible to achieve the next level - it is possible. You eagerly anticipate what's coming next. I look forward to seeing more releases …more stories…more episodes, with of course the instant heart throb character …"Sylvia"; let's face it, they knew [like Jessica Rabbit], how to draw an instantly attractive woman character & with good insight into the human qualities of her and ALL the other characters too, as we play along and "act" with our Hero. The act, an "Interactive Comedy", is perfect in it's description. I hope soon there might be voices…(huh?) [hint to future versions???] maybe ??? or not - maybe no voices is what gives it it's appeal... I can't say for sure, all I know is that I like it. Good music choice. Great price! Refreshing! Great Job! Signed "Big Fan" already :)
Good concept, waaayyyy too short
The concept of the game is really innovative and cute, and i was in love with it when i first started playing, but i finished the game in 45 minutes or less. It was such a let down, when I reached the end, I thought it was the end of one chapter out of many, but it was actually over. The game only has about 5-6 stages, and the only reason it even took me 45 minutes is because i spent 20 minutes on the last stage because i didn't get it and had to repeat it about 30 times (i almost just stopped playing cause it was getting so repetitive), and when i finally got it, it was over. left a bad feeling :(
Dragon's Lair + more innocent LSL
Reminds me of the old Dragon's Lair arcade game… cartoon with human-driven decision points. These decision points are a fun and tough to nail the first time, which is part of why they're fun. They sort of force you to explore the interaction a bit.
The game did feel a bit short, but if I use the movie-economics scale, for a lower price I got more out of it than a movie. And it felt like a better use of my time.
BTW, Edgar's dream girl really is very dreamy. <sigh>
