Fair app..better than nothing at all

This app is Ok. It lacks a lot of functionality that I would like to have but it does not crash. It is fairly reliable.

The ads are kept to a minimum and do not interfere, for the most part, with reading the stories.

I wish the app would allow me to choose which topics I wanted to read about so that when I swiped to the right, only those stories would pop up. Currently, I only get the stories they choose for me to see each day and I have to poke around to get a few more stories. For example, I would like to read the editor's opinion piece each day and I would like it to never show me a sports story as I am not a big fan.

The truth or lack of

I read a story by these people recently, and thought about how absolutely wrong it was. I called and talked to the person who was "interviewed". He was so upset about what had been reported as fact, that he couldn't face his family who was always supportive and very accepting of him, regardless of his life choices, which was one of the many points this article lied about by the way. I talked to him more on the subject and as it turns out this a common thing at the advocate. Make your own opinions, but I talked to the actual person who they actually interviewed about their claims. I don't care who else does it it's still wrong. Support your story with the truth or don't publish it.

I Like it...Buuutttt...

So this app is cool since I can read about what's going on around town, but every time I get a notification, I have to reset in order to receive updates. Or if I simply open the app, it doesn't update automatically. Again, I have to go into settings and reset in order to refresh. Other than that, this app has great potential.
