As engaging as a book, as visceral as a movie, a Flexible Tale™ comes to life with the tap of your finger. From the authors of award-winning interactive fiction and novels comes a new way of telling stories. No longer limited to the printed word on the page or the requirement to read one page after another, a Flexible Tale blossoms to life like a flower in the sun. With each person, place, object, or concept you explore, the story grows. You discover the story as you experience it, not in a linear, page-by-page path.
As the lead detective, you will:
- See, read about, and interact with the cast of characters, each with their own motive and agenda.
- Explore locations that are threaded throughout the story, linked by the murder.
- Question witnesses; determine which are suspects, then follow-up on the evidence that connects them to the murder.
- Enter items into evidence and read and analyze the crime lab reports that detail a trail of deceit and violence.
Present your case to the D.A. who will do his best to get a conviction, but his success is up to you and your investigative talent.
Requirements: Read. Think. Tap.
Complete update, story edit and program restructure. New interface, adaptive screens.

Finally, interactive storytelling done right
If like me, your idea of a good time is sitting down with a good book or even a soduku puzzle then this is the app your looking for. The Art of Murder takes you on a winding journey where a joystick is just not needed, neither is guessing what the computer wants you to do. Instead you simply review the narrative and tap around the screen and uncover new characters, locations and objects. Over time the game reveals itself before your eyes in your quest to discover just who killed Lola Perone. After playing for hours I am still not close to uncovering the entire game and have a cast of suspicious characters who all seem to have a reason to be the killer. For a first product from this company this is a great start and for less than the cost of my favorite beverage I can be entertained for hours.
Finally a way to entertain my mind in a way that before only a book could do.
Grab your favorite beverage, sit back on that comfortable couch and enjoy a more cerebral form of entertainment
The is an engaging story that changes the more I read and the more I discover about what happened. The people seem to be one way, and have an agenda, and then I discover something new and it all seems to change in my mind, and I can't describe that feeling, but it's unique.
Maybe I could solve the whodunnit part, but after hours of playing, I am still in no rush. With this story, and all the extra stuff like newspaper articles and magazine articles included in the product, it's like the journey, the experience of learning about the people and places, that makes this so fun.
I'd be more in a hurry to solve this if I knew when the next one was coming. Hurry up! I want more!
Pretty Good- but WAY too short
I was expecting this game to be a little bit longer than it was. The storyline was decent, however there was not enough depth or detail that I would like to see in a mystery. It was a great concept though! I didn't have a problem paying the price that I did for the game, because there was definitely a lot of work that went into this… However next time I would like to see their next story to be a lot longer than the first, and a bit more developed… Which is why I only gave this game 4 stars instead of five, but again, this was an excellent concept!
