The Bellingham Herald eEdition lets you read your newspaper on your mobile device just as it appears in print. You can flip through pages and skim the headlines from Bellingham and Whatcom County's leading news source since 1890. The app allows you to easily enlarge type, jump from section to section, and share articles on Facebook with the tap of a finger. And if you missed the paper one day, don't worry. As a subscriber, you can download editions from the past 14 days.

Ratings and Reviews
Too many intrusive ads! Old app was better.
I have been an online subscriber to the Bellingham Herald for years. It has been so nice to have access to the local paper without the clutter of paper filling the recycle bin. I had no real complaints about the previous app (I think it was called “Olive?”). Some months back that app was retired and I was forced to switch to this one on my iPad. Now reading the Herald is a horrible experience. It’s not enough that I pay a subscription and see the print ads in the digitized print copy. I also have to endure invasive attention grabbing ads in the app, including frequent full screen pop-up ads that are infuriating and sometimes appear several times within only one or two minutes. The app itself is more difficult to read and navigate compared to the old one. I would GLADLY pay a higher subscription fee to at leave remove the terrible ads that this app serves up.
Bait and switch
Nowhere on the App Store does it say this app will require you to pay to read the stories. Typical bait and switch fraud. And the layout looks like crap on an iPhone 6 with the page arrows sticking into the articles. When you try and enlarge it drags you to a totally different page (usually an ad... wow I wonder who thought that would entice readers). Don’t waste space on your phone or tablet with this piece of junk.
Can’t read like a newspaper
Use to be able to read the paper on my iPad but not able to anymore and have a print subscription with online access.
