The ancient legends are true. No one will believe them until they have the misfortune of coming face to face with them, however.
To forget the past and live a normal life or follow the unknown, the choice is yours... How can you refuse, when at stake is the life of your beloved daughter, and the past, you tried to forget all this time, haunts you. "Book of the Dead", demon worlds, portals, all these seemed unreal... but you can't help believing your own eyes. Now, not only your daughter's life is in danger, but your soul is trapped between worlds of the living and the dead.
The Descent utilizes the Unity3D graphics engine to convey sensation and fullness of the world. You will be immersed into a mysterious story, the outcome of which depends entirely on you. The Amazon jungle, desert, caves, Akat afterworld, Europe, all these places you'll have to pass with your strength and intelligence, because there is no one to help you...

What's New in Version 2.01
- The second season is added.
- Game began to support in addition such iPhone 4S, Ipod Touch 5, iPad 2, iPad devices pass (without Retina the display).
- Small-sized corrections and finishings.
Apparently, all of these reviews were written by people who never made it past the first level. The game is intricate, very well done, and downright spooky. Don't let the bad reviews turn you off from an amazing game. I'm running it on an Iphone 5S and I have had absolutely no glitch problems or anything mentioned by the other reviews. Experiment people. Find a way past the machine gun trap on level one. And, most importantly, PLAY A GAME BEFORE YOU RATE IT. Sheesh.
It takes a bit if getting used to but if you can make it past the confused opening (without dying or being given any instructions), the game does pick up. I will add to this review once I can complete a play through.
Nice looking, but confusing gameplay
You start in a deserted cave. As soon as you move around, machine guns (?) start firing from out of nowhere and you die. Probably seems cool to a 12-year-old, but not to me. Cool visuals are not enough to make a compelling game. Very disappointing experience.
