Customer Reviews

Perfect way to digest the news

In the current hyperbolic news climate, it is delightful to get a daily distilled set of news morsels from around the world written in the classic Economist style. The app works flawlessly, and the articles are perfectly sized, providing the reader a global perspective with minimum fuss. The app serves as a reminder that the world still turns, no matter what latest doom has been predicted by the loudest pundit-de-jour.

Useful and Informative, but Slow to Load

Anyone looking to learn more about global economic and political news will consider this a valuable resource. I have a very high opinion of this app and have recommended it to many friends. It's primary drawback is its slow loading speed. If this was increased then it would drastically increase my enjoyment of it.

Great Way to Start the Morning

Espresso's concise report on upcoming events keeps me fueled for the remainder of the day, able to best anticipate and analyze events as they unfold. An even more concise list reporting yesterday's news makes me instantly informed, better than watching 10 minutes of any news program. And the daily quotes are quite good.
