Customer Reviews

Great App, Minor Problem

I've been an avid and pleased reader of the periodical for some time. I read exclusively on the iPhone app. The interface overhaul a few months back provided a fresh new feel.

However, something seemed to happen with the in-article definition feature. As before, I can double tap on any word to generate the "Define" option. But after the upgrade, I am unable to lookup some even relatively common words. An example is "perpetuate." I try to tap on the "Define" prompt and nothing happens.

As a test, I've successfully looked this word up (and many other similar examples) in my iPhone dictionary outside of the app. I love the writing style of your publication and use it to further my vocabulary. I hope you can fix this issue in the near future.

Best Magazine for socio-economic perspectives

For an iconic magazine like The Economist high quality of articles, journalistic credibility, economic insight, strategic clarity, and authenticity of information are absolute essentials. In addition to this this online app is very reliable and user friendly. I cycle whilst listening to it and keep updated on the world. Works seamlessly with my iPhone 6 plus. Highly recommended.

Best magazine for thinking women

I listen to the audio version of The Economist and learn more about the important issues of the day than from any other source. It's refreshing to read/hear objective insights that don't break along US left-right lines.

I recommend this for every intelligent woman.
