What's New in Version 1.1
Updated to support iOS 5 and improve stability on older versions.
Not very intuitive
The videos are well done, but the game itself is hardly intuitive. Instructions are to "grab" the wordballs from the video and then use them in the game to change words via a "silent e" or a "transformer h" etc. We couldn't figure out how to grab the word balls - just tap on the word as it appeared in the video? It isn't clear. Then, in the second part of the game, you're supposed to use the grabbed word balls to change a new set of words as they float across the screen. In doing so, you score points. But the game would break off and we'd be told "better luck next time" without knowing why. So, while the videos have appeal for the kids, the game itself is hard to follow. I don't know if we'll be keeping thins one.
Catchy tunes, but really just color matching
The tunes are catchy, and the game worked just fine for us, but the practice using the concept learned in the video is nothing more than color matching red balls to red words and blue balls to blue words- not sure why they have dumbed down a potentially great spelling app? Also, wish it would tell how many points needed to unlock additional letters. Great potential, but unlikely kids will learn much here, sorry!
Still don't know
I'm just givin it 2 stars cuz I don't know what it's like. It didn't download yet
