Engaging puzzle and hidden object game

Interesting storyline; I like the protagonist. Two levels of gameplay. In casual mode the game shows you areas you're supposed to interact with and you can get frequent hints about where to go next and what objects to use. This mode was enjoyable without being too easy or hard. The only thing I didn't like were the puzzles that you had to solve to unlock doors. Often the instructions weren't clear enough or even if you did know what to do, sometimes the interface wouldn't cooperate. The hint button didn't work for these puzzles, but you could skip them. The game works properly with the Mac interface; if you're in full-screen mode you can Command-Tab out of the game.

Good story and intriguing puzzles

Polonius Monk

The lead character was engaging and the quest she set out on was interesting. The metaphysical world mixed with basic crime solving. Some of the puzzles were frustrating to solve and there were two or three too many hidden object games that always seemed to pop up just when you were hot on the trail of a new lead. Still, I enjoyed this game very much; a slightly more mature level of game than some of the more total fantasy based Alawar games.

Fun and interesting

This game is one of my favorite adventure games. It is a good length and interesting story. There wasn't a ton of dialog, which I liked. The tools and logic parts of the game with the occasional hidden object, was a perfect balance! I found myself skipping a lot of the mini games simply because they seemed to be a lot of guess work, and it was tedious, but overall a great game - keep them coming!
