Beautiful design, great UX
Puzzles are meant to be challenging. This one is no exception. Except this one is unique and engaging and beautiful. And it's not just typing in your best guesses over and over and hoping for the right answer. It's not fitting round pieces into holes. You have to work for it and really use that little piece of mushy organic material that lives in your cranium to make sense of it. I know it's hard and yes it can be frustrating. But when you get the right answer and move on that's what is the most rewarding and honestly, isn't that what life is all about? Finding those 99 cent challenges in life and working for that hard earned money and really making the most of it.
Sorry, but I must be the one person who doesn't really like this one. Sure, there are a lot of stylish and well thought out puzzles here with some nifty decoder tools, but the array of puzzles is all just too monotone for me. They seem to be pretty much all of one similar kind which is very cerebral and mathematical.... not my cup of tea. If you love intellectual decoder games without much logic but a lot of mental twisting, this is for you. I guess I just don't have that kind of brain. For myself, I'm deleting it and going back to The Room, Forever Lost and Cube Escape.... games with puzzles that seem to require much more creativity and logic, and have a better right/left brain balance. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not having enough fun to spend any more time trying to find it.
Beautiful, cerebral, and maybe even a bit dark. This game is incredibly challenging, but not quite to the point where you have to give up. You do, although, have to be rather clever and have the sort of brain that's good at ciphers and pattern recognition to truly enjoy the experience. But this is really just amazing, not to mention the awesome graphics and the mysterious storyline lurking ominously in the background, in such a way that you're not sure whether you're just imagining it or not. This is not just a game, it is a journey.
