Nice game.

Simple to use turn based game. Not real deep tactically, but entertaining.

Really Fun

I was quite pleased when I stumbled upon this game, as it makes me feel like I’m playing a simpler, yet still enjoyable, version of Armageddon (which I love). I’m looking forward to this being iPhone X compatible!

Fantastic 40K Turn Based Tank Warfare!

If you're a 40K fan, you will like it. If you're also a turn based strategy game enthusiast; you'll LOVE it. Expect deep strategy in pitched, (sometimes massive) clashes between Tanks of all kinds, Dreadnoughts, SkyHawks, FreeBlades, Terminator squads in drop pods, Imperial Guard, etc, etc. All the toys are at your disposal. The Unit list is truly staggering. It's perfect if you want, but are not willing to spend 20$ on Armageddon. The only downside is mission wise, you get what you pay for. On my IPad Air, after about 2 hours of awesome gameplay, I've encountered no slowdowns, force quits/crashing or any instability some of the other reviews had mentioned. Maybe that was fixed in the latest update. Or they were playing on old devices.

Pros:
-Unit List (40K Nerd heaven right here)
-Deep strategy (unit facing matters, weapon range, status effects on units, terrain effects, multiple weapon types on single units, unique weapon perks, it's all here)
-Every mission in every campaign can be played as either side, in addition to a "mission play" option that adds some randomization to said missions by tinkering with deployed units, objectives and map layout, adding some great replay value
-Crisp animations with atmospheric battlefields, good sound effects/music
-A mere 2.99 US

Cons:
-Only one 6 mission campaign included, there are 3 more campaigns but all by IAP, additional units by IAP as well
-No voiced animations or even text narration of any kind, just a bit of 40K "lore" before each mission
-"Customizing your army before a battle" is a stretch, you choose one of 3 support unit choices prior to each mission, that's it
-Size ( bit nit picky here but it's just shy of 2 gigs)

All in all if there was a 4 and a half star rating that would be perfect. The combat is deep and rewarding, the game has been patched to glistening, and clearly some fan love went into every part. The aren't unreasonable, if annoying and again for the price, the quality you get here is top notch.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a treacherous insurrection to stomp out. FOR THE EMPEROR!
