You play as Dante, the heart-broken hero of the game. With Virgil as your guide, you embark on an adventure through the circles of Hell facing fire pits, filth infested waters and frozen wastelands all in the name of love.
Reach Beatrice before she gets condemned to hell for betraying her husband with you. Only from the clutches of Lucifer himself can you acquire the Thorn Ring and place it on Beatrice’s finger.
But hurry! You only have a few hours left before her final judgment.

This is how iPhone games should be...
I've had more fun playing this game in the last 10 minutes than the last 20 games I've downloaded combined. The amount of TLC the developers put into this one is obvious. The gameplay is simple and responsive, and the artwork has an amazing hand-painted look. The levels are addictive and more challenging. I have nothing but great things to say about this game. I would love to see a multiplayer feature added eventually, but I've still got 70+ levels to beat already! I want more!
Great Game Indeed
Before I bought it I read all these reviews and I heart praise, praise, and more praise. I immediately bought it. Then as I played, I realized the game was good, but not as fantastic as the reviews had led me to believe. The graphics are good but not "lush to the finest detail". They're just okay. The gameplay is fun and addictive, I agree. But read some of these comments and you'll see some don't seem like they would be real. All have perfect grammar, 5 stars, and positive comments. Even the best app must have some flaw...
Some Minor Flaws
I really liked the game and my issues aren't with the graphics, the level design or the gameplay. The biggest issue I had was the ending was very abrupt. There really should be some kind of map that indicates your progress through the various stages. Also, while the levels increased in difficulty overall, there were no definitive "boss" levels and the difficulty scaled in a pretty random kind of way.
Other than that it's a great game and I hope there's a sequel.
