The Ledger for iPad

Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
The Ledger in Lakeland, Fla., now brings its thorough coverage of Central Florida to the iPad. The Ledger for iPad combines the best of print and digital in a new, compact digital package.
Like our print newspaper, it's a relaxing, lean-back reading experience; you can browse through all our sections and finish with a feeling that you've read today's edition.
Like TheLedger.com, the app provides digital extras: breaking news throughout the day, blogs and additional photos in articles. Photo galleries and videos display full screen, taking advantage of the iPad's gorgeous high-resolution display. You can also adjust text size, mark your favorite articles for later reading and share stories easily by e-mail or post to Facebook or Twitter.
Navigation is quick and easy: click to the next article or use the pop-up bar at the bottom of our articles to swipe through all the headlines in the same section. It's a news-you-can-touch experience we think you'll enjoy.
What's New in Version 1.0.1
Too Many Ads!!,
Every time I use your app, I have to tap through ads on almost every article. It's gotten worse over the last few months, and it infuriates me when I say 'no' to registering my information with you, and then you make me start over finding the article I was looking for. I usually don't write app reviews, but it's happening so often that I couldn't not let everyone know how annoying it is. I'm uninstalling your app, and will rely on the AP app for my local news.
Glad to see The Ledger
It's great to see The Ledger finding it's way into the mobile digital world. Thanks for starting with a free ad based version. We will look forward to add-free electronic subscriptions, eCoupons, expansion onto the Mac AppStore and much more to come. Keep up the good work.
