The List shows where you are on a restaurant’s waiting list right from your phone. There’s no longer a need to hover around the host stand waiting for your name to be called. When your table is ready, you receive a text notification letting you know.
Additionally, The List now allows you to add yourself to a wait list before you even arrive. Use your phone to check wait times and “get in line” from anywhere, straight from your phone.

Done with the list
The list is the automated reservation system that one of my favorite restaurants uses. I have used it previously with no problem. We wanted to go for breakfast. We were 20 minutes away and the list said 30-45 min wait, so I joined the list. I was watching as it counted down, it started with 10 parties ahead of us (various sizes), we were down to 3 parties ahead of us and we were 10 minutes away. Next thing I know there are many parties ahead of us, what happened? I thought maybe they changed the app and once you get there and check in it moves you back up? Well, no. It just, for no apparent reason put me at the end of the line. When I arrived I asked the host where I was in line (and told him my story). He only saw the reset, not the original. Actually, I think he thought I was making it up ( I don't blame him, people will try anything to cut the line). My reservation was now 45 minutes. I left. I will never use the list again, I will call from now on. So much for technology.
Not sure why the bad reviews, but this app worked perfectly for us. Used it twice at the same location. The first visit, as we waited for our table, I watched the list in real-time and seemed to be very accurate. The second time, I used the book ahead function about 35 min. out. I monitored the list from where we were staying and we were able to time it so that we walked right through the door to our table, skipping the line. It was awesome!
Worked as expected. We finished shopping, used the list app to pick a restaurant nearby. We tapped get in line, it told us there were two parties of four and one party of two ahead of us with a 5 to 20 minute wait. When we arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later, we walked in, went to the desk held up the app, hostess asked if I was so-and-so I said yes. Then amazingly she showed us to our seats. We tried to ignore the dirty looks of the 3 parties that were still waiting. Hey, they can get this app, too!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
