The Little Crane That Could

By Abraham Stolk

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

Driving a crane and operating a crane is so much fun. Improve your spatial skills and solve puzzles in this crane simulator, which is enjoyed by over 17 million people, young and old.

A realistic physics simulation gives you full control over the crane: rotate, elevate, bend, extend and grapple. Use your crane to solve a diverse set of challenges. This crane simulator lets you use mobile cranes, dump trucks, forklifts, skid loaders and even a sky crane helicopter.

The Little Crane That Could features 6 free levels and 22 premium levels (1 in-app-purchase unlocks all levels.)

You can follow me @BramStolk on Twitter. Please consider providing feedback on the game, good or bad. I need to know what you are thinking. There is a button in the HELP screen that takes you to the feedback page in itunes. Also, there is a FAQ now at

If you open the settings of your device, and go to 'Little Crane' tab, you can reverse the controls to mimic real-life cranes where pulling the lever is boom up, and pushing is boom down.

'The Little Crane That Could' is a game by Abraham Stolk, and it uses the OpenDE physics engine.

Money hungry appholes

So I have had this game for a few years and I really liked it. I don't play it enough and when I do go back to play it I see that they took over half the game and make it "premium in-app purchase". I don't mind paying for the app once but to have to pay 5 bucks to play levels that I have already beat is just ridiculous. Well whomever thought that was a good idea is just stupid. I will be deleting this from all of my iOS devices.

For this and Little Crane 2 being my favorite games probably ever on my iPhone I have to say... I'm highly disappointed that the developers have not updated, fixed bugs or even creat NEW LEVELS in almost a year... Developers, you have a great thing going but you are missing out on a huge opportunity! Wake up!!!!

Took what I had before away to make me buy levels?

I like the game and I'm not above paying for an app or dealing with the free part if I don't pay. What I don't like is that some of the levels that I previously played for free were taken away and turned in to purchase only levels.
