The Love Book app is a new interactive anthology of timeless poems, short stories, quotes and letters, all inspired by that most noble (and most troublesome) of emotions: love.
The Love Book interactive app invites you to read and hear great words on love and even record your own version to share across your social networks.
The actors read work from writers including William Shakespeare, J.K. Rowling, Emily Bronte, Maya Angelou, Dorothy Parker, Rumi and E E Cummings.
The Love Book app is created by Allie Esiri, the co-founder and creator of the acclaimed iF Poems app (Apple’s Education: Editors' Choice All Time Favourite App).

National Poetry Day say, "The best poetry app ever.... Particularly good for Adrian Moles (male AND female) stuck for words to express themselves & their hopeless passions. Like having a little Cyrano de Bergerac on permanent stand-by in the palm of your hand."

EMMA WATSON AUDIO! Two new additions to the app: two extracts from 'The Curly Pyjama Letters' by Michael Leunig chosen and read by Emma Watson.
Love this! With one suggestion...
I adore this app. I sometimes use it to meditate when I need a soothing, British voice to help me zone out. I also use it to lull me to sleep, much like a lullaby. The only thing I wish I could do with it is hit Play All on My Faves that I have saved, like we can on all of the poems, and listen to those without stop. Also, being able to organize My Faves would be lovely, sometimes I like listening to the same voice for awhile, or the same poet, so having all of my favorite Shakespeare items in one Favorites section, and all of my favorite Tom Hiddleston or Emma Watson read poems in another would be lovely, for example. Other than that, I use it nearly as frequently as my social media apps--and I certainly cannot say that about many other apps.
New favorite app. More recordings please!
I just bought this app a few days ago, and I absolutely love it. I love poetry (meeting Billy Collins in college was like meeting a rock star to me). This app not only introduced me to new poems, but the actors reading them brought them to life in a new way. The write your own/record your own poem feature saved everything perfectly. I hope there will be more recordings coming soon. I would love to open up this app and hear Benedict Cumberbatch reading "The Good Morrow," or Ewan McGregor, David Tennant or Robbie Coltrane reading Robert Burns.
I love this app! I listen to poetry every day & I love the ones read by Tom Hiddleston! My only issue with the app is-that there are more poems read by him (on YouTube) that are Suppose to be on the app BUT I don't have access to them. I'd like them All please since I paid for the app! (Oh & if they could get him to read the F. Scott Fitzgerald ones in the voice he used for Midnight in Paris I would be ecstatic!)
