Wholeheartedly recommended

I never write reviews, but just in my first several days of using this app am extremely impressed. I wanted a meditation app to reintroduce me to mindfulness practice as a result of heightened stress in my daily life. Though I had practiced religiously years ago, I became increasingly disillusioned with new age techniques and ideologies that did not resonate with me, so I sought something down to earth. This app is certainly that, based in Jon Kabat-Zinn's MBSR, which I believe he initiated when working with patients living with chronic illnesses. The app has a clean and easy-to-use interface, the voice leading the guided meditations is immensely soothing, and it provides an array of time options as well as the opportunity to purchase guided meditations by such respected folks as Tara Brach, Sharon Salzberg, and Kabat-Zinn himself. It also has a timer if you want to sit in silence, or begin with a guided meditation and then sit in silence. All told, highly recommended!

Great app, needs better organization

This is a great app for practicing mindfulness, I use it often. However, I really would like to see its organization features updated, especially for the meditations that I purchased. If the developer is reading this, and wants to improve their product, and better serve their community of people who use the app, then I recommend updating to features that allow me to star my favorite purchased meditations, and create playlists for different types of meditations, like the body scans, or mindfulness for pain. This would help greatly, especially because the lists provided that show different categories mindfulness, when you go to open a meditation from one of those categories, it just brings you to the purchased list, not the talk you wanted to open, all of this makes it very difficult to find specific meditations inside of the purchase list.

Finally, A Wonderful Mindfulness Meditation App!

Wow, I'm so happy to have discovered this app! My meditation practice has improved greatly thanks to the easy to use interface and wonderful guided meditations. I love that you can choose meditations to fit your needs, whether you have 3 minutes or 30, or if you want silent meditation or guided. I especially love the 5 minute body scan, as well as the ability to purchase additional meditations from seasoned instructors such as John Kabat Zinn, Kristen Neff and more.

This is a great app for anyone interested in meditation, whether your a long time practicer or someone who is just discovering the many health benefits of mindfulness meditation.
