Fiendishly difficult! Adorably cute! Utterly engrossing!
How much gold can you get before your entire team is destroyed? IT'S NEVER ENOUGH!
Play The Nightmare Cooperative now - it's a strategic adventure where you lead a group of unlikely comrades through some rather difficult situations. Your village has fallen on hard times (due to reckless spending by the Village Council) and it’s up to you to bring back some gold.
The Nightmare Cooperative is a puzzley roguelike. You control a group of characters, each with different special abilities. The trick? They all move together, as a group. Something of a cooperative, if you catch the drift.
Every playthrough will be different, and you'll always have to start at the beginning, no matter how well (or badly) you did before. Your score is the amount of gold that you pickup during your journey. Opening crates gives you extra gold, but releases more monsters.
Check the Game Center leaderboards to see how well you've done!

One More Adventure...
...and maybe just one more after that.
I will start off by stating that I'm not the biggest turn-based strategy fan. That's why I have considered buying this game for the past week. I usually see something that interests me and instantly mash the "Buy" button.
The art design of The Nightmare Cooperative kept me interested and researching gameplay video and forum threads as well as popular touch gaming site reviews. None of those is what actually pushed me over the edge though and convinced me to drop the $4 on this game, it was Lucky Frames involvement over at TA and how much they really love the outcome of their vested and collective production of their game.
Since none of the normal means was able to convince me to buy the game, I'm not going to try to convince you to buy it.
Just dropping in to leave my five stars to show support to these dedicated and talented developers for giving me a gaming adventure that is fresh, challenging and most of all infinite in its replay value. $4 very well spent, thanks guys
Great style, OK gameplay
This game looks and sounds beautiful (though some of the text is a little small on my iPhone). The gameplay was pretty fun, but I never felt in control. With up to four characters at your command, the playing field is often a chaotic mess. I guess that’s the point. Luck seems a big part of the game, it’s not all about skill. That’s fun for a while, but I want to feel like I’m learning the game and getting better.
Addictive, simple, gorgeous, and brilliant
Sure, I've played my fair share of rogue-likes, RPGs, and turn-based strategy games, but I've never played anything like The Nightmare Cooperative. I was initially lured in by the gorgeous visuals, but quickly got addicted the the simple and intuitive gameplay, not to mention the endless replayability. One of the best on iOS, hands down.
