A Brilliant Evolution of the Original

The Room Two, like its predecessor, is an immersive and impeccably designed puzzle game. Its greatest strength is that it maintains everything that worked in The Room, and then expands on the ominous world it gives players to explore.

First, the controls and interface are perfectly preserved. The player uses the touch screen to examine and manipulate objects and contraptions. Everything from flipping switches, opening lids and handling screwdrivers is done manually via the touchscreen. It makes the player feel like they are unlocking these mysteries with their own hands, and is a critical part of what makes both games so immersive.

Unlike the original, The Room Two features multiple locations, each with their own mysteries to solve. This provides a greater variety of puzzles than The Room, with its intricate boxes, had to offer. Each room has its own feel and internal logic, and the puzzles are just as mind bending as before. Additionally, the unsettling notes left behind for the player by their mysterious acquaintance further advance the plot first laid out in The Room.

Overall, The Room Two feels like a natural evolution of The Room, maintaining the wonderful controls and eerie atmosphere, while offering up a richer variety of puzzles. Fans of the original will find everything they could want in a sequel, while new players would be best served by first playing The Room. It will help you appreciate The Room Two all the more.

Just Amazing!!!

I just can't say enough about this game!!! I wish it was something that you can find on Xbox, PlayStation, or the Wii. I try really hard to not use the hints and make my way around the room by myself. The puzzles are challenging and yet not impossible to get through. The only thing that could be worked on would be the storyline. I'm really not sure what it is all about so I don't pay a lot of attention to it. My advice to the makers is to work on the storyline somewhat like Hidden Mystery Secret Society game. The rooms and graphics are so good and I'm on my way to room 3. I hope to see more rooms and I'm kinda sad that number 3 is as far as I can currently go. I'm telling everyone I can to play its that good. Just please consider changing the story so that players get attached to it and it makes sense.

Entranced Again!

The world of the Room expands into a new dimension. I was taken by the intricate art for every object. More mystery and depth create more illusion of the universe of the game.
I could hardly bring myself to pause now and then to continue. The gestures and actions required more than poke here, touch there. Sometimes you had to brush things, aim, time, type. More and new solving experiences make this chapter even more immersive than the previous. More art and dimension opens up your curiosity and yet confines you within the same space, making you second guess if your your next move is going to end you, or reveal what is going on.
The developers definitely pushed themselves to raise the bar on the quality of the game experience. I enjoyed this game even more than the first.
