'We’re really impressed: they’ve turned the alphabet into cute characters who sing... It’s a marvellous, creative idea, and it stands out as one of the best.' - www.appsplayground.com
'A fresh and original app that defies easy categorization... it’s a phonics-based, music-mixing, jamtastic alphabet app. With 26 friendly letters at your child’s fingertips, he can create an endless number of jazzy musical combinations. If he touches a letter, it sings its phonetic sound in a continuous loop. He can then add letters, make words... It’s so danceable!' - www.bestkidsapps.com
"So much fun, and so perfect for my daughter who is now learning the sounds of the letters. The two of us are dancing in our chairs as I type this with the sounds of letters singing their letter sounds loud and clear. It’s catchy, it’s cute and it’s educational in such a marvellous way." - www.babycchinokids.com
Did you know that letters could sing? Welcome to the Ministry of Letters' Singing Alphabet. We have worked with experts in child development to ensure this app will engage children with the world of letters and word making in a completely new and imaginative way. Our letters are fun and friendly characters that children will love playing with.
Each time a child presses a letter it will sing its phonetic sound. Your child can press as many letters as they want and the tune will always sound harmonious. Children can enjoy creating new songs with different combinations of letters or singing along with a single letter and practicing its sound!
They can explore making their own words by pressing the pen at the bottom of the screen to show the letters they have chosen. They can hear what the words sound like when they sing and enjoy playing with different combinations. Practicing the weekly spelling test with your child will never be so enjoyable!
This is a fun, engaging app to encourage children to really enjoy the alphabet and have fun making words. It entertains a range of ages with younger children discovering the alphabet for the first time and older ones competing to make the best words.

Couple of our great reviews:
"This app is so freakin' creative and fun!! I can't wait to unveil this to my first graders next week. I know they're going to enjoy being creative music makers!"
"This is an incredibly creative, fun phonetic learning app! I am using it with my 12 month old daughter to work on her ABC's and she loves dancing to the beat"
"This is a brilliant app, a really fun way of playing with letters. My 3 year old daughter can't stop playing it, and even my 1 year old sings along! Amazing!"
**UPDATE** Whilst troubleshooting some of this issues reported with sound we discovered that some users had accidentally 'muted' the app using the lock screen switch. The easiest way to check is by looking in Settings, under General and if "Use Side Switch to:" is set to "Mute" as opposed to "Lock Rotation" you need to change this.
If it is set to "Mute" then even with the volume indicator set to full you will not be able to hear anything.

Great children's app
This is a wonderful and creative app (which definitely has sound!). It takes a minute or two to load, but the programmers animate a rather lovely journey through London which makes the wait easier. The actual orchestra of singing letters is charming, fun and (maybe even) educational - the letters sing sounds useful for learning to read. And they sound great together! Highly recommended.
This app is completely pointless. It's truly a single screen, and it's too subtle in terms of identifying which letter(s) is currently selected. So, your child hears the A sound, then maybe the M and the F, based on whatever he/she has selected, but there's virtually no element that ties the sound of the letter back to the actual, visual display of each letter. Maybe a slight wiggle, but way too subtle to notice. So, they know they've selected a few letters, but for all they know, A makes the F sound... No way to know unless they only select one letter at a time, deselect it, then move to a new letter. The artistry of the letters is appealing, but that's about it. Total waste.
Singing ABC's app
I find this app slow and while it could be made more interesting, it just isn't. Also there is a small pencil in the corner on the bottom left hand side and if you touch it, it displays the letter that is singing at the bottom but if a name has the same letter in it, it won't display the letter again but removes the one displayed. This could be a good way to help teach a child how to spell their name and the sounds. I am very disappointed in this app.
