Unrivaled by any other news/information source.

I have cut loose my subscription-tail in all areas: I have no need to pay for access to information sources that spew propaganda, lies, fabricated buzz-word accretions, and other goal-oriented political misinformation that is shameless in marketing Marxist ideology. The Spectator is ONE subscription that I refuse to give up because I require the quality of content and the way it’s presented. There are many reasons that account for the longevity of this publication, and I appreciate all of them. Plus: I won’t live without my favorite writers like Douglas Murray, Katy Balls, Rod Liddle, Peter Hitchens.

Problem trying to read offline

I have been a subscriber for over 10 years, first through Kindle then through the iPad app. I love the Spectator and have recommended to many. However, a recent update to the app has made it impossible to read downloaded issues offline. After about 20 minutes of offline reading, the app boots me out of the downloaded magazine and requires a login. As my favorite time to read The Spectator is on flights, this is a real problem. Either I am forced to purchase expensive internet service on the flight (if available) or I have to read some other less enjoyable publication that does allow offline reading. PLEASE FIX THIS!

A beacon of sanity

Many would accuse the Spectator of political bias, but most of these critics are tied to much more ideologically charged media. The pot calling the kettle black. If you take time to read the articles it quickly becomes apparent that this kettle is boiling over with common sense, clarity, factual analysis and diverse points of view, some of which are thought provoking, and challenging whatever the readers political preferences might be. Well done!
