The State eEdition
By The McClatchy Company
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
The State eEdition lets you read the The State newspaper on your mobile device just as it appears in print. You can flip through the pages and skim the headlines of South Carolina's leading source for local news. The app allows you to easily enlarge type, jump from section to section, and share articles on Facebook with the tap of a finger. And if you missed the paper one day, don’t worry; you can download editions from the past 14 days.
South Carolina's largest newspaper, The State is located in the state capitol of Columbia. The award-winning newspaper has been publishing since 1891, covering state government, breaking news, military news, academics and sports at The University of South Carolina, and local features. The State's news staff has won numerous national and international awards for reporting, writing, design and photography.

Worst app ever
My app was updated to this one a few days ago. Absolutely the worst experience attempting to read The State Newspaper. Whoever designed this app must not actually read the newspaper. Many issues with it not to mention the ads at the bottom of the page. For example, when enlarging an article the previous app allowed it to stay where I positioned it on the display. This app centers the article again which puts the colored side tabs over the words making it hard to read.
I was happy with the previous app. The update was then installed and it is impossible to read the newspaper with it. I find it hard to believe that The State allowed this to occur. Is anybody in charge there?
worst app ever
never works, of many papers this is the worst
