One by one, everyone left the once bustling village for the city. Everyone, except Talma. Now approaching the end of her days, she maintains a simple, solitary way of life, surviving, subsisting, tending to her homestead and her goats.
Develop your own personal routine as you care for your farm and your animals. Tend to your goats, make cheese with their milk, collect eggs and cook meals, grow vegetables and barter with the travelling merchant who brings increasingly disturbing letters from your family in the city.
A follow up to the critically acclaimed Where the Goats Are, The Stillness of the Wind is a quiet rumination on life and loss.
Minor bug fixes.

Love the game but the control and way too short of days!
I get stuck in the cheese maker barn all the time. She just won’t move! Then I want to drop a bucket to greet the mail guy but can’t sometimes and he goes away even though I’m chasing him like a foot behind! I have two goats but don’t have time to milk both and finish one cheese till the mailman gets there and then it’s like 1 minute till dark. No time to water the crops much less get eggs. Explore? How? I can make one time around the property before the day is 3/4ths over. One trip to the well, water 5 crops plus get some eggs equated to a day. Forget milking the goats of making cheese which is what you trade for. Don’t grow flowers.. waste of my energy. You move at the pace of an old lady and I get she’s the point but I just don’t see how I could ever save anything throughout to make the game seem like I’m getting anywhere. I had 3 shotgun shells and I hit both wolves but in the morning one of my goats was still gone. I just get no where.. oh and where the hell os the phone? It rings.. I look all around and bap at the telephone pole.. nothing for me.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME YET!
I have been playing—or attempting to— for the last 45 minutes or so. The bugs that plague this game make it unplayable. Important pieces of the game get stuck and halt the narrative along with them. I STRONGLY recommend waiting for (at least!) the 3rd or 4th update before you consider spending any money on this game. As of now it’s not worth it at all. I’m not sure why devs release games without extensive testing first, but I promise you as of right now the “completed” game was too quickly rushed in production to ethically sell. If I could get my money back and buy it again in a month I absolutely would.
As for the actual game; it’s extremely slow. If you were looking for something exciting this is not the game for you. If you were looking for a game to play with Netflix in the background, this game is also not for you since volume is a crucial aspect of the game. If you were looking for a game to play with a cup of hot chocolate on a rainy day then this game is perfect.
It is very pretty and has a nice soundtrack which is mixed with some very lovely sound effects. From what I managed to trudge my way through the story is fairly interesting as long as you don’t mind reading. Be warned about limited instructions. I enjoyed figuring it out, but it certainly takes a while. Definitely not a game to buy for your young kid.
Again, do not buy this game until the devs fix it. When they do, you should give it a go.
Such a beautiful, unique game but...
So many game breaking bugs. I want to give this 5 stars really badly (and probably will in the future) but it’s impossible to do so in good conscience in its current state. Pots/cans getting permanently stuck in walls causing you to reinstall the entire game because you can’t restart it from the menu, losing all future progress towards wheels of cheese because you get tired in the middle of making one, the merchant stealing the billy goat back from you the day after you spend a pretty penny to buy it from him, wolves seemingly unaffected by the shotgun, etc. etc. etc. Obviously it’s about fighting a losing battle of attrition which inevitably always ends the same, but regardless of that, it’s impossible to play this and fully enjoy yourself as it is right now. When these bugs all get patched and worked out I’ll revise this review but as it is you should probably stay away from this game.
