Price gouging

You want me to pay 2 bucks a day for an e-version for which you have zero printing and distribution costs? Get serious or get lost.

Truly, truly pathetic. Even this link for providing a review, which YOU extended to ME, doesn't work properly. It always takes numerous attempts (8-12) to open the app and it crashes frequently. It's not possible to forward or save articles (unlike real newspapers like the NYT, WSJ, Washington Post, FT, NY Post, Hungry Horse News, ..., all of which I subscribe to). I was a loyal and avid subscriber to the Telegraph for 5 years when I lived in London and now that I am back in NY I put up with your horrendous app only because I am so desperate for UK news. I have complained and offered suggestions numerous times in the past year and it never improves. Given any decent alternative, I will drop you like a rock.

Sort out the subscriptions

Brooklyn Exile

Content and format is ok - I really do get this for the crossword, and because I can read the headlines on the subway where there's no Internet signal. What is utterly, utterly frustrating however, is that at least once a week, it decides to block me from my subscription. There appears to be a major disconnect between the iTunes subscription, and the direct Telegraph digital subscription. Cue deleting the app once a week, losing stored content, and firing off e-mails to the telegraph subscriber help address, with invariably useless information ( denial you even have a subscription, and then the unhelpful advice to close the app and re-open it). Plus, there's only a UK phone number, which is a free number in the UK that doesn't work from overseas. Sort it out Torygraph, you are better than this.

Very good in parts

Global banker

The app itself is excellent once you get on. I've subscribed digitally for a year and the content is excellent. The Telegraph Is also the first of the London broadsheets to upload the new edition, so I can read it in New York before going to bed. However after the update of the app in March, I was charged on iTunes several times for daily access, even though I have a current monthly subscription. I had to delete the app and reload several times. My hope was that the Telegraph, Apple and the app writers could get it together as it is time wasting and frustrating. Since it moved to the iTunes newsstand I've had fewer problems. Only today it's just not loading.
