This game version is so glitchy. I've tried to buy stuff with favors and it's taken the favors but not given me the product more than once. The past week it's sporadically quit adds I was viewing to get double chits and didn't give me the extra chits. And this has been for sales on the trail over 7000 chits. Also I've cut down trees in the logging field 3-4 times and it didn't give me the wood so I'd leave the field, re-enter, and find the tree there. At this point the game owes me approx 15,000 chits 20 favors and like 3 axes. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the game would be fun if they ironed out the glitches.
Update: today I sold 10,000 chits worth of stuff and when I went to watch the add to double the amount it froze and I had to restart the game. Doing this screwed me out of the extra 10,000 AND took items out of my inventory and replaced them with 3 pine logs. I'm taking the second star I gave this game. It doesn't matter how nice a game looks if its this glitchy and frustrating. It would be nice if the game company would reimburse me all the lost chits and favors I've lost while playing this game.
Has potential, but crashes ruin it
This game has potential, but frequently crashes and when it happen after hours of collecting and crafting to lose thousands of 'chits' and all the materials due to a crash... well kind of makes the "grind" worse. The graphics, exploring, crafting and missions are fun, but the trade interface is maddeningly infuriating - items are tossed on a conveyor belt and progress toward a spinning crusher. As they go the price drops until the get destroyed at the end. The idea is a fast paced auction - which suites the game, but the execution leaves something to be desired... items are often piled together and very difficult to select. Which means you often cannot see the items clearly and worse you often buy the incorrect item. Further items are often flung onto the belt and destroy so quickly you cannot buy them even if you wanted to. The whole fast paced auction thing works, but the system needs some tweaking to make it usable. Hopefully the developer will fine tune the game and fix the crashes and trade - then 4 maybe 5 stars.
Beautiful, but glitchy.
The game is addicting, simple, fun for sometime. Though it may advertise working with your town members to prosper together, you end up spending most of the time playing by yourself, or waiting for that "one" guy to finish the warehouse box with his high level crafts so you can participate with something more your level. If there was a sort of town bank where everyone can store items they get maybe that would of helped. Also being able to talk to your town you need gold. That's just down right money grab and takes away from the coop from the game.
The game has a bunch of beautiful places to "explore" and running by some poor sod passed out on the road while everyone else steps over is body. Perhaps the poor lad got hit in the face by his Birch lumber that flew out of his bag into space? Never to return again? Who knows.
TLDR: Play for a day. Don't spend money. Watch out for flying logs.
