Boat & Beach

Very useful app in general and helpful high and low tide info added in recent update.
I do have a question about the tide times provided. How can I tell the exact location you are using for your high and low tides? An example would be Oak Island N.C. If the approaching high tide is at 6:43 PM, where is that on the island? Some apps use data from the East or West end of the island, some from one of the piers, and some use data from neighboring islands. This may seem trivial, but it is very important when calculating current flow direction in the backwaters. There is over a 2 hour lag in some locations depending on where you reference the high tide.
This information is invaluable when making plans. Whether it is for fishing, shrimping, taking the children out, walking the dogs, and especially boating.
When you are paddling a kayak, it is bad enough to try and fight the current, but getting stuck in the marsh overnight is very unpleasant.

Where to start? Ads, double alerts, ads, can't log in

UPDATE: Since I bought the upgrade, things have been a lot better. No more ads!!, so now I can just view the weather info and watch all of the vids in peace. The development of the app has grown quite nicely too. More vids to watch and logging into my account is easier. Great app!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'll start with the latter.. I get asked to log in every time I open the app. I can't. I touch my profile and nothing happens. I am forced to watch a 30sec ad in EVERY video. Come On! Data is going to ads! I get a double alert for weather alerts - the same alter, just twice-nice and loudspeakers 2x. And there are more ads. 😒
