What's New in Version 3.0.3
- Bug fixes
You have to be careful with this app. I found that after scanning the beauty products that I use, I've spent quite a bit of money tossing the "10s" and replacing them with products with low numbers. I was surprised that some products that I used..Lancome, Aveda often were rated as "dirty". Who knew. I find myself shopping at Whole Foods, Sprouts, and online for products that don't contain harmful ingredients. I do wish there was a way to have some input as to whether the "good" products are effective. For example, I bought a hair conditioner and find it leaves my hair flat. While I want to use healthy products I don't want to waste my money on something that doesn't work.
Best app I've downloaded
In an era of over-informed and unethical marketing using paid immoral "doctors" and fake associations to recommend products by using meaningless endorsements on packaging, this app simplifies a chemistry litany of nightmare ingredients list of some huge names of inert components, with known carcinogens that have not been removed by our handcuffed FDA. Sad thing is that like talc which we knew caused cancer twenty years ago, they are just now removing from products. I am always surprised that the giant brand name companies, which I've used for years are so cheap and toxic with some of the worst ingredients. I would recommend this app to anyone who cares about not getting cancer or dying prematurely.
Great app, can't wait for more products to be added
This is a fantastic app, and I usually look up body products on it before I purchase. It is pretty easy to use, and I appreciate the suggestions the app gives. However the scope of products reviewed on the app is still fairly small, and there were multiple occasions when I couldn't find the product I was looking for on the app. Nonetheless I think the idea of this app is great and I imagine its popularity will only grow with the (healthy) trend of being more conscious of what we put on our body, so I'm looking forward to seeing the scope of products reviewed continue to grow.
