Have the developers used it yet?

This really is a great app. I love the concept of keeping my random and fleeting thoughts. However, there are minor glitches that I find rather elementary to correct, if you are a developer.

To begin, the keyboard on the iPhone display has suggestive text. This bar surfaces over the "save" button on the Thoughtback interface. Thus, I am able to jot down my thought but am not able to save it. So I am forced to go to my settings each time, turn off the suggestive text, return to Thoughtback, and then save. But I always copy and paste my text first so I don't lose it.

The other conundrum is the settings and preferences. I really don't need another email sent to me. I love that it reminds me of my random thoughts, but I don't have the option to select a banner pop up or screen alert as opposed to an email.

Finally, as a frequent user of the app, I'd like to have the flexibility, on my mobile device, to view/sort my past thoughts. This seems like a no brainier on the development side. Even just being familiar with "Evernote" I'm aware of basic design features that don't exist in Thoughtback that would seem like a priority in this type of a tool.

So, although I'm crazy about this app and I think the premise is rather catchy, it leaves much to be desired technically and I really do hope that the developers can pursue improvements. Given the seemingly minor corrections it needs, I'm certain that people would enjoy it just as I have.

Does a simple thing well

Snakeyboo

This app is really good at the simple task of feeding your own thoughts back to you. I use it for self-talk: Any time I say something to myself that I want to hear again, I put it into Thoughtback. Getting emails with my old positive advice to myself gives me a boost every day. When I need some encouragement, I look at /random. I feel like this way I'm making progress and really internalizing things I might otherwise forget.

Great for remembering tidbits

Schnick11

Have you ever wanted to tuck away a statement, verse or piece of information you've read and remember it from time to time? This app can do that for you! It organizes information into categories and then emails different things you have saved to you on a daily basis. Such a great app. Good support from the developer too!
