Disclaimer: This application works best for stochastic textures (or images).
Quality of results may vary for regular photographs.
Our interface shows your result image with a "BEFORE" and "AFTER" situation for you to compare how your tiled image looks with and without the application of our algorithm.

Make your textures tileable (toroidal)!
Remove texture seams when tiling them horizontally and vertically!
Just choose your texture and the Tile it! for the iPhone will make your texture tileable. Automatically!
No hassle of copy/paste + blurring manual operations... Tile it (and its companion iPhone app*) automatically transforms your textures into tileable ones!
*iPhone sold separately on the app store
What's New in Version 2.0
- Completely redesigned interface;
- New feature: select offset to shift texture in the canvas horizontally and vertically, improving the final results;
Hardly any flexibility
I got this for the sale price of $.99. I'm glad I didn't pay more.
If you look at the image above that shows grass, you will notice in the preview that there is a black border aroung each tile. If your starting image is not at least as large as the input window, you will get this black border. The border is directly equal to the grey space around your input image. There is no way that I could find to crop or otherwise change the area that I wish to be tiled.
Overall this is just a useless app to me. I was hoping for more, but only got $.99 worth of product.
I own Pixplant and was hoping this might do the same thing, but with a simpler interface.
There is no comparison.
Version 2.0 really takes it to the next level...
It is a great app… version 2.0 adds the ability to select where the texture will be mirrored, in addition to the smart blending algorithm.
v2 is great!
Great app, although it is CPU intensive when rendering a seamless texture, but it got the job done and well. For three bucks, this is a steal and a real time saver. Thanks Marico.
