Transform a scene into a miniature world. This application simulates a tilt-shift lens that tricks your mind into viewing a photo as a miniature scene like a model railroad for example.

Focus on a linear or elliptical region in the image with visual guides and interactively adjust the amount of blur for maximum effect. Increase color saturation, contrast or brightness to increase the toy model look.

Create a nice bokeh effect with the lens blur filter in night scene photos.
Blooming strength and threshold are adjustable.
You can even choose a shaped aperture (hexagon, heart, dollar sign, etc.) if you like.

The size and orientation of the focus can be adjusted
by the multi-touch gestures pinch in, pinch out
and rotation of two fingers around a common center.

Practice with dozens of images that are included or use the camera and photo roll.

The resulting image can be saved in high resolution.
Both portrait and landscape mode are supported.

Horrible app

Doesn’t work. Just a blur tool. Most of the time I have to reset the app to get my photos to load. This should be a free app. Not worth 2 bucks!

Great app, easy to use

I have been using this for a couple of months. TiltShift lets you add effects to iPhone photos that normally would require an expensive camera lens or complicated software such as Photoshop.

While typically used to achieve a "miniature" effect, the application can also be used to throw the background or foreground out of focus. In effect, it gives some conrol over the depth of field on a camera that is fixed focus.

As others have noted, it does not work well with every photo; it depends on the composition of the photo and the desired effect. But on some photos the effect is really quite striking, especially if you are interested in "art" photography, and with an iPhone you can take some surprisingly good art photos (as in every graphic art the quality of the product depends more on the skill of the artist than on the sophistication of the equipment).

Since this is an effect that is added after the photo is taken (rather than at the moment the photo is taken) you can play around with photos that you have taken months or years earlier. (E.g., take a photo from the 1940s, scan it, load it on your iPhone, and then use TiltShift).

The app is easy to use and I have had no problems with it. For just a few bucks it's a great tool to have available.

This is a truly great app for anyone who love photography or just loves creating breathtaking photos. I just found this app randomly and noticed it was on sale and did some quick research and bought it immediately. It was also nice it's on sale this weekend but either way I just had to have it. Using my huge library of photos I have already made some really great looking photos look 100 times better using this app. Even if you have a pretty boring photo this will make it look like the best photo you have ever taken. I'm simply stunned at how well this works and how much fun I'm having using this. I'm really looking forward to some great updates in the future to make this even better than it is right now. I really hope they will make it so I can email photos and post them to my facebook profile because that would be so ideal and so crucial. Take my advice and try this out right now and you will love it as much or even more as I do.
