The Time eX application is a full camera resolution App for simulating time exposures on an Apple IPhone, IPod Touch or IPad. Make classic film style long exposures that show water and cloud movement and maintain the full resolution of your device’s camera.
Time eX takes a series of full resolution still photographs and averages them together. While taking the photographs it provides a realtime video resolution preview of the result. The high resolution photographs are averaged together off line utilizing the cameras graphics processing unit for maximum performance.
Note, for classic effects, a tripod is almost a necessity to isolate the movement of the subject and eliminate camera movement.
Compatibility IOS 8 and above.

Just Get It
It's fantastic. I've made some very fine iPhone snaps with this puppy. Get yourself a tripod mount for your iPhone and just watch your "likes" go up in number.
Excellent long exposure app
This app does a much better job of iPhone "long exposures" than the other apps on the market. Instead of using the iPhone's video camera to create the illusion of motion blur, this app takes multiple photos and then overlays them to achieve the effect. The benefit is a higher resolution image that avoids resampling (the other apps resize a smaller image to a larger image, resulting in lower image quality).
This is a solid app that excels at its primary function. The only downside here is there are some UI quirks that make the overall experience a little frustrating. Tapping the help or information buttons dead-end you in a text file that does not allow you to get back into the app proper (or at least my rampant tapping around could find no button to take me back). By default, this app saves a high resolution file that averages around 2mb in full light and at low ISO. There is no setting to change this output (which is fine by me, but some users may want smaller images).
Besides those two issues, everything else about this camera is great. Setting up a shot gives you full control over frames per second, total frames, and editing afterwards is a breeze. In many ways, this feels like Average Cam Pro, but with better iPhone 5 support and a built-in image editor.
A great addition to the app arsenal!
Used it at the roller derby with a small tripod. Made some fantastic dreamy images. Thinking about ways to make a "movie" all contained in a single Time eX image.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
