This software is a joke since it is NOT compatible with Adobe InDesign 5.5. Several failed attempts at contacting Jeremy has resulted in zero replies. I am out $10. What a waste and poor customer service! Do not buy!

Awesome App, a Little New

As a freelance webdesigner I need to keep track of exactly how much time I spend on projects. I had been using TimeEdition but would often forget to start/stop the timer, and so began looking at the plethora of apps designed to automatically track time usage. I tried many, many apps, but found them all unsatifactory in one form or the other. Then I found Time Tracker Pro.

It does almost everything I need, however, there are a few things I would love to see in this app:
The ability to assign all files in a folder to a project (like what Lapsus does).
Allowing people to remove the dock icon while it's running.
A more informative website and blog.

P.S. To those of you who are complaining about the lack of instructions:
There is no stop/start button because it runs continually. It tracks projects through application/document (file) usage. For example, if I want it to track the amount of time I spend working on a clients website in Freeway Pro, I launch the Time Tracker; open Freeway and work on the file. Then I open TTP's window, create a new project, switch to the "unassigned" project, click on the arrow next to "Freeway" then drag the document I want to assign to the project to the projects file in the sidebar. Now when I open that file or document, it tracks the amount of time and adds it to the project.

Huge Disappointment!


I've used the old Time Tracker app and it was much, much better than this lite version. I agree with the other reviewers that said this new app is unintuitive. You can enter projects and tasks easy enough. However, there is no way to actually start a task. Keeping track of the time spent on a task and subsequent project is the main functionality needed in an app called "Time Tracker." This lite version appears to be nothing more than a bait to download and then upsell to the Pro version. I will pass on this and uninstall.
