The TimePlus app has a Digital Clock, 2 Alarm Clocks, 2 Countdown Timers, 4 World Clocks, and a Stopwatch. It displays the current time and date using futuristic graphics in one of 27 color themes, in Full-Screen Mode or Titlebarless Windowed Mode. There is a GigaClock for distance viewing and a NanoClock that's 480 x360.

Use the MODE button to toggle between Full-Screen and Titlebarless Windowed Mode.

All World Clocks, all Digital Clocks, and the Alarm Clocks show the current time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.

Each Alarm Clock has:
• 12-Hour and 24-Hour controls that dynamically adjust.
• Individual Hours:Minutes Up/Down buttons that rollover.
• Decrementing Progress Bar during countdown for quick visual inspection.
• Big Flashing Indicator Brackets when the countdown completes.
• One of 15 different Sound FX.
• Alarm Sound plays every 5 seconds when the countdown completes.

Each Countdown Timer has:
• A maximum time value of 99 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
• Individual Hours:Minutes:Seconds Up/Down buttons that rollover.
• Decrementing Progress Bar during countdown for quick visual inspection.
• Big Flashing Indicator Brackets when the countdown completes.
• One of 15 different Sound FX.
• Alarm Sound plays every 5 seconds when the countdown completes.
• One-click time reset after countdown completes.
• One-click Clear HH:MM:SS to 00:00:00.

The Stopwatch
The most recent 7 Stopwatch elapsed time intervals are displayed at the bottom right of the window, along with a bar graph showing the relative percentages of each in relation to the longest time interval. The longest time readout is also highlighted in the current Stopwatch color.

World Clocks
World Clocks are configured via the TIME ZONES button, by Region and City. There is a SPECIAL Region for selecting Middle Earth locations.

Stellar Cartography
In the Stellar Cartography DATA visualization, the eight major planets of the Sol solar system are cycle animated along with planet stats and random data. Typically you use this when running the app as a quasi-screensaver in full-screen mode.

Love it

Was using Time before and it kind of annoyed me that there was only one alarm and one timer. This one is much more functional. I may consider buying ProTimersPlus if I end up using this more often.

I rated it 4 stars because it needs a few things to be perfect. I get the whole Star Trek thing and all, which is nice, but this app is more than just a gimmick. So give me some way to turn off the sound effects without disabling the alarm sounds, they get kind of annoying. Also, customizable alarm sounds would be nice. Hell I know between all the different ships throughout the series there should be a wider collection of alarm sounds built in to choose from. The current set of 15 sounds are just computer bleeps, no actual alarms.

Also, this app needs to support Lion's new full screen mode. The way it is designed now, it wants to be full screen all the time. Much better if it had its own Space without having to move them there myself.

Almost perfect

I love this app. I’ve been using it for years. I admit to loving it just for the Star Trek theme, but even if you don’t like that, it’s very useful, from the huge ‘gigclock’ display to the timers, the stopwatch, and, most especially, the two alarms. They’re not only easy to set, but they automaticallyn reset unless you specifically stop them from doing so, which I’ve found very convenient.

My only gripe about it is that if my mac falls asleep, TimePlus doesn’t wake it to sound an alarm. However, I’m not certain that’s the app’s fault, as my iMac has some sleep issues.

Obviously, the appeal of this app is mostly the Star Trek aesthetic. That's cute and works well. There are some UI quirks that you'll need to get used to: pushing the theme button only advances the theme. If you miss the theme you like, you either have to know the keyboard shortcuts or wrap around the entire theme stack again. And you need to click in non-obvious places to get out of the nano clock mode.

I do think it is missing something: Nano-mode for the timers, world clocks, etc. There is only nanoclock and nano-stopwatch modes.
