Stopped working
Since updating to iOS 5 the app doesn't work correctly. Leaving the app open it works fine, however closing the app the timer stops at the time you close it. Reopening the app you can see the time you closed it for a moment then it quickly goes to the correct time. If the app is closed then the alarms don't work and the minute countdown on the app icon don't appear.
I did delete and reinstall the app but nothing changed. That said, does the cloud interfere with this if I have an iPhone too?
In iOS 4 this was a great app and I believe when they update it it will be as good as before! The rating is for what it was, not for what it is to me now. Hopefully that will change soon!!!
Hard to beat
There are a ton of timer apps available, and I've tried quite a few. This one is my favorite.
It's quick and easy to use, plus it has bonus features like time remaining in the icon badge and additional notifications in advance of the time being up, if you choose to use them. It also has been totally reliable and has a comfortable user interface.
Highly recommended.
I love this app!
I wish I could find a darned alarm clock app that worked as well as this timer does. This has been very reliable for me and I use it all the time. Recently I get a warning saying it needs to be updated and that it will slow down my phone. I always update so that's a mystery. Still used often though.
