You can turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID Account Settings any time after purchase.
==Fixes For You==
- Some small tweaks to the task scheduler so it's easier to use on small screens
- The 24-hour format for due times was broken so everything was shown using AM/PM. Both time formats will again work properly.
And the usual small bug-squashing and app-improving to make sure your to-do list runs smoothly.

Could be great... but still lacking
I have tried to love ToDoist and make it the only productivity/task tracking app I’d ever want, but the truth is that I’m still looking. I’m a paid subscriber because I need push notifications. For some reason, though, the folks at ToDoist still don’t have everything straightened out. Syncing is painfully off consistently. I used the Windows desktop app at work and then swap to my iPhone for personal tasks away from the computer. If I do anything with a task on a separate device, background syncing almost never works, especially desktop to phone. I have background app refresh enabled but ToDoist will flash task reminders on my phone for items I’ve checked off from my computer. Plus, the UX/UI is different across all devices... even from my work Windows 10 laptop to my MacBook Air! I’m not just talking shortcuts, I’m talking about buttons for filtering, editing and ordering tasks. Why isn’t this consistent across devices? And added on further is the time it takes to edit or even delete tasks. Deleting a task is just too many steps.
The main thing that keeps me coming back is the native language input, which can be a huge time saver. If ToDoist didn’t have this, then the app wouldn’t be worth paying for at all.
Good App, Bad Business Model
I’m not getting the subscription model for some businesses. This is definitely one of them. It’s a good app, but it is not worth $29 a year. FOREVER!! It’s a todo App, and in order to make money they want people to pay them $29 a year FOREVER just to get pro features like REMINDERS? Seriously?! What is the point of having a todo app without REMINDERS? I get paying them $29 ONCE for this app, but it’s not worth paying them $29 a year FOREVER!!! What are they going to do, update a new way of doing reminders with each update?? What makes this app worth $29 forever?? It’s a todo app. There’s not a bunch of ways they can go to improve what the app does every year outside of fixing bugs. This is a bad business model for this app. I get paying for the app one time, maybe even paying a reduced amount when they update it afterwards, but paying them $29 annually FOREVER is just keeping them in business with very little return for the customer. The App Store should not be used as WELFARE for little programming companies. Sell your app. Sell updates to your app. But I’m not paying you $29 a year FOREVER just so you can stay in business when there are other apps out there that do the same thing just as well and some even better where I purchase the app once and get all of the functionality without having to pay a WELFARE fee for the company.
