What's New in Version 7.0.1

-- 7.0.1 --

- Fixed: When you create a task via the new Quick Add from the Today or Next 7 Days views, the right date will be automatically pre-filled even when you have date parsing turned off.
- Fixed: We made the color of the title bar for the “Neutral” theme less dark.
- Fixed: Zoom is working again!
- Fixed: The new Quick Add will always be properly positioned in the middle of the screen.

-- 7.0 --

- We updated the design of the app to make it feel more at home on your Mac, including extending your theme color all the way to the tippy top of your top bar.
- A redesigned smart task Quick Add. Not only does it look more like a Quick Add on Mac should, it also works much faster for getting your tasks off your mind and onto your to-do list.
- The smart Quick Add now always includes a shortcut to assign a task to someone else. Just type “+” into the task name field to pull up a list of collaborators.
- A bunch of behind-the-scenes improvements and bug fixes which admittedly aren’t very sexy, but are nonetheless vital to keeping your to-do list reliable and your tasks safe. Needless to say, we’re pretty darn excited about it.

Customer Reviews

Todoist is great, but...

This is a great todo app; however, the widget for the notification center is still broken. This is my only caveat.

A solid to-do manager

Todoist is a really great to-do list application. I moved over to it after being a long-time Things user and really disappointed in the Things 3 upgrade. It has great features like nested projects and to-do items, item sharing, notes, the ability to included pictures/documents, etc. It’s a well designed and sharp looking application that’s also quite easy to use. It does center around sharing and groups so some of the features are not as easily accesible as I’d like (like having to open several windows to edit an item’s note), but these are fairly minor things. I do wish it was a single purchase instead of an annual commitment. Overall, it’s very stable, nice to use, and syncing works great.

Moved From to Todoist

Was looking for something to replace as they are just too expensive. Found todoist 6 months ago. Very happy and using them for 6 months. Good app on all our devices. You can use it for free, but why not give them $30. You can then forward email to convert them to tasks.

Keep developing and expanding Todoist!
