Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Use the TombFinder App to locate a Headstone wether you are walking or driving. You simply search the name of the headstone you're looking for and hit "driving directions" or "walking directions". Once inside of the cemetery your TombFinder App will lead you right to your destination.
There are currently 230 cemeteries in our database but if you cannot find the record you are looking for, never fear! Suggest TombFinder to your local cemetery. If your suggestion leads to that cemetery becoming our partner, we will give your loved one an eternal memorial account at no charge to you!
An eternal memorial account allows you to upload pictures and memories to the record of your loved one.
Otherwise, you can add your cemetery and upload records from your mobile device.

What's New in Version 1550

actually really cool
OK, this version seems to be nailing it. It's obviously a lot better if there are cemeteries in your area as far as searching, but I like that I can also add shots for grave sites not already in the system.
It's cool, though -- was looking for a local personality's grave last week (an old dirt-track racer) and the app took me right to it… maybe even too close, I was actually right on top of it and didn't realize. Then I noticed the checkered flags on the headstone.
So anyway, the trick is to add graves not in there if you can get to them and you know where they are. Then you can get your dad (in my example) to download the app too and he sees how to get to your great-great-great uncle's grave (again, my example).
I dig it.
This is one of the things that our cemetery has done. Tombfinder has made so many visitors happy as they can locate a grave without any help. This means anytime ,any day, you can find your lived one. Every cemetery should use tombfinder. It makes life so much better for the family, the staff, the public. Technology is the only way. And the staff at Tombfinder are the greatest. I am a huge fan.
Could be great
This app has potential! Right now you can only search for people by last name, and when searching for someone with a common name like smith, that's a long list of people to go through. It also isn't in sync with every local cemetery, which would be great because I take volunteer photos for people who don't live close by. Like I said it has potential to be great.
