Mobile Banking offers you the ability to view account balances and recent transactions, transfer funds between your accounts and even pay your bills. Our Mobile Banking solution provides you with the ultimate in convenience for managing your finances anytime, anywhere from any mobile Smartphone!
You must have an active internet banking account at Tompkins Trust Company. If you are not currently enrolled you can visit www.tompkinstrust.com to complete the process.
To enroll in Mobile Banking log in to your internet banking account and click the Other Services tab. Click Mobile Banking and complete the enrollment process.
Tompkins Trust Company Mobile Banking is an extension of your Internet Banking service. When you log in you will be presented with the same security questions, PassMark and phrase that you are accustomed to seeing when you log into your Internet Banking Account. The mobile app still uses the SSL encryption to keep your information as secure as your Tompkins Trust Company Internet Banking account.

Extra steps to set up app
I too was unsuccessful logging in after I downloaded the app. I then found instructions in the app directing users to enroll in mobile banking through their web browser:
You have to first log into your Tompkins online banking account from your mobil phone browser then agree to the terms and register your mobile phone #. After that you must respond to a text message to activate your mobile phone. Lots of annoying steps, but the app worked fine after. No touch sign in or eye recognition tho. (P.s., if you want to write a review, good luck coming up with a nickname that isn’t already taken)
Completely useless, cannot even sign in
Stupid, stupid, stupid
The app's ratings have been reset, so I should bring my review up to date. It is still broken in the same way, and is therefore absolutely useless. Login credentials are rejected whether pasted in from a password safe or typed in manually. October 2017. Previous iterations of this review follow.
Now, more than a half year later, the app is just as unusable as it was in 2016. I deleted the previous version of the app, downloaded the app again, but see the same stupid problem: the login credentials which are accepted on the website cause an error in the app, whether those credentials are typed in manually or are pasted in from a data safe. Should I add a few more "stupids" to the review title?
I'm sure that the development costs of the app were minimal; only a dummy login screen and an error alert box seem to have been implemented.

This app has never worked correctly. When presenting the same login credentials to the app as I successfully do to the webpage, the app invariably reports that the credentials are invalid. I don't type them; I paste them from a data safe (1Password). This Mickey Mouse app has never been usable.
