I think it is fabulous! My students do not get frustrated and quit. They are able to focus for extended periods of time and I get to make my own target list. Thanks for this great app." - Speech Therapist in California ***** "I just wanted to tell you about my session with my student today using 'Touch and Write.' He is a kindergarten student... he resists writing and acts out to avoid it. Today I showed him the 'Touch and Write' program... he was totally attentive for 30 minutes, quickly learned to move between the different writing textures and understood the use of the 'little monster' to make the letter correctly." – Teacher ***** "The k and 1st grade kids are really engaged! One of them worked for 15 minutes - the most we have seen him do in weeks." - Teacher

Kids love learning to write - especially when they can use shaving cream, paint, and jello! "Touch and Write" was developed by real classroom teachers, and recreates the fun and effective teaching strategy used in classrooms every day: learning letters by writing with shaving cream, jello, finger paint, and more! "Touch and Write" uses a letter style similar to those most commonly taught in schools, so it prepares children for a real classroom. "Touch and Write" also allows you to create your own lists of names and words so that you can individualize the learning experience for your child! Fixes bug that prevented Directions from displaying. In addition, more phonics sounds options - alphabet button now allows letter sounds in addition to letter names! We created a database of all the words your child is ever likely to encounter in school - a database of 80,000 words - and coded in the phonics values for each letter. This allows children to create virtually unlimited personalized word lists and listen to the phonics SOUND of each letter - rather than just the letter name.

Delightful way to learn and practice letter formations!
I love this app and am amazed how motivating this app is for students who do not enjoy learning to write letters! Children who typically do not demonstrate good motor control, will work slowly and carefully to trace the letters accurately. Using a stylus allows for working on grasp patterns for pencils and other writing utensils. The ability to create individualized word/letter families makes its use more efficient and tailored to a student's needs. The music is a little wearing, so having the ability to turn it off is a good thing, especially for students who are easily distracted or have a low tolerance for sounds. Love the paper backgrounds, whipped cream, sound effects, and the method of correcting errors in stroke sequence. I could go on and on listing all the benefits! As a school-based OT, this app has made my therapy sessions much more fun and very beneficial. Thanks for this great learning and teaching tool!!
Really wonderful for beginner writers
My three year old loves this app. It has improved his accuracy in letter formation. We love that you can also add your own words so you can teach them to write their own names and other words that interest them in order to get them practicing their letters. The music is well chosen and not annoying. The idea of writing with food is so great--it's not crucial to the writing, but it just makes it so much more fun for the child. My son's favorite is to write on Cheerios background using ketchup :-). I would recommend this to all pre-K and K kids. Once my son is more proficient with the letters we will encourage him to practice with a stylus so that it becomes more like writing with a pen (of course we will also have him write on proper paper with a proper pen!)
I love this app and I love the features of adding words&numbers,
When I added numbers and words it was only spelling out, but it was not saying the word so I emailed to the developer and ask him to add an option where we can also hear the word of the list we created and also asked him if we can add numbers 1-50 instead of 1-10.
The fizz brain genius responded to my request and promise to work on it in summer, and he did it. In this new update not only that we can add 1-100 numbers but also we can add words and after writing we can hear the word we wrote.
And one more feature added the letter sound we have the option to turn on the letter sound or turn it off if we want.
Thank you for making education fun and easy by making this app.
No doubt they listen and take seriously our feed back ,
thank you for this great update.
