Still no TouchID for Touch Banking
I use this app only because My credit union doesn't offer an alternative. I've become spoiled with apps from Amex, Citi and others that allow me to quickly get in and out to conduct my business while using the built in security of the phone (TouchID). That tech has been out for what? Three years? Six months ago my credit union president said it was supposed arrive by the end of the month. Nope. It is about time Fiserv gets with the program otherwise their clients (banks and credit unions will start losing business to the more nimble mobile banking options.
Behind the times!
App is behind the times for many reasons. It freezes up all the time, has slow updates. Doesn't show pending transactions or loan details. Has very limited functionality, no features such as statements and account maintenance, and customized links and no Touch ID. It also doesn't offer any promos and banners like the other mobile apps do. I wish they would clean up the app and put the links on a tab like all of the other mobile apps do. Obviously the developer hasn't seen any other mobile banking apps.
it does the minimum but could be more
i like that it got Touch ID in a recent update but honestly i'd love if it had a Watch app so i could just click on my Watch a couple times to see if my direct deposit hit (or better yet offer notifications for this sort of thing) instead of having to look on my actual phone itself like some sort of caveman. /s
