Great for what it's worth!
So if you've ever tried to stitch panoramas using your PC, you'll know how frustrating it can be. Although most PC software is much more powerful, they are expensive and require some expertise whereas this software does not. The same principals are involved relating to nodal points and parallax, however you DONT need a high end price of hardware and hours of training to get it as good as it's going to get! It's limited by the camera resolution on your device, but who cares..if you want a gigs pixel image then use a DSLR and some other software! I recommend this app for anyone just wanting to capture the moment!
I downloaded this app to take panoramas on my iPad mini. This app crashes a lot. As a matter of fact this the only app I've I had problems with on my iPad. This app is extremely hard to use, even in "Easy Mode." Even if you do manage to stay within the set lines there will always be blank spaces. Normally the blank spaces are in the same spots. There is also a lot of distortion on filled spots. This app puts heavy emphasis on sharing your photos with the world. Even if you do choose not to share your panorama, it will be posted anyway. Most people looking for a panorama app are simply wanting to use it for personal use, not a panorama social media site.
All around terrible app and I will be deleting it.
Keeps Changing (for the worse)
This app has been fantastic - in the past. I've used it to create about a dozen spheres over the past year or so. The problem for me is that they keep changing the method by which one captures the scene. This is very frustrating as one has to relearn the program seemingly every time you use it. Two methods presented to me yesterday produced inferior results than the one last winter. Why don't they stick to something that works. The concept is good and I've created, IMHO, some fantastic spheres, but yesterday's experience was less than satisfactory.
